The Loki is powered by 30 Watts of PowerFilm Foldable Solar
Chargers the provide power in direct AND ambient sunlight. The solar panels are stored
in the case, but deployed outside when charging. Unlike other portable power solutions, the Loki does not require maintenance charging between uses because an integrated
solar charger (exclusive to Viking Solar Backup) that maintains peak battery
voltage. Inside the Loki is a 24 Amp Hour battery pack, an 4000 Watt AC power inverter that convert 12 volts of DC power from the battery pack to 120 AC household power. The inverter has two standard outlets and an LED battery level indicator for monitoring battery levels. The Loki also has two internal and one external DC power outlets that are used to operate 12 volt products.
The foldable solar panels, batteries, charge controller, inverter, wiring and accessories are housed in a durable, water resistant, crushproof and dustproof Pelican case. The case is light enough to carry, so the Loki can be easily transported in the event of an emergency.
