The Fixture
No replacement for is needed for 20 years. The fixture has an adjustable light beam. There is no light pollution, Dark Sky friendly. The fixture offers an option to run at half intensity during low traffic hours. Greater resistance to shock and vibrations, cold start, constant light intensity throughout temperature range and life.
The Film
Green Duck Energy Solutions solar panels are all monolithically integrated which eliminates the need for damage-prone manual connections of individual solar cells. Green Duck Energy Solutions solar film is made of silicon, a natural resource in abundant supply. The solar film is Cadmium Free, unlike some other solar technologies, and performs well in diverse environments, including hot sun, and does not suffer from wasted over-voltage.
The Controls
The system uses the Green Duck Energy Solutions custom charge controller. The shelter can be programmed to be either a dusk to dawn or programmed to run along the based on the schedule of the business or City’s demand.
Battery Storage Solution
This fixture uses a Green Duck Energy Solutions custom battery bank. Based on the power consumption needs of the shelter which is based on the shelter type. This solution uses one of our custom remote battery units.
